Stephanie Kakkenberg

Meet Stephanie Kakkenberg, who joined ChainCraft in February 2025 as part of the Operations team - after completing a six-month graduation internship with our R&D team. With fresh academic insights and hands-on experience on our processes, she stepped smoothly into her role as Junior Process Engineer at the Demo plant.

Asiman Dash

Meet Asiman Dash, who joined ChainCraft on April 1st, 2025 as a Process Development Engineer. In his role, Asiman supports the development and scaling up of our downstream technologies for our upcoming full-scale plant.

Kees van de Laar

Meet Kees van de Laar, who joined ChainCraft at the beginning of 2023 as an Interim Controller. Looking back on that period, Kees shares: “During those two years, we managed to really professionalize the Finance function, while at the same time ChainCraft was going through an exciting phase of growth.”

Mya Groot

Meet Mya Groot, who joined ChainCraft in February 2023 as Office Manager. At that time, ChainCraft was transitioning from start-up to scale-up and there was a growing need to structure and professionalize office processes.

Bas van der Veld

Meet Bas van der Veld, who started as an intern in 2016 and has grown into a key player in our team. During his internship, Bas was drawn to our dynamic environment, where he could apply his knowledge of chemistry and fermentation to real-world challenges.

Melvin Smit

Meet Melvin Smit, who first joined ChainCraft as an intern in 2020 and returned two years later in 2022 to become a key part of our operations team.

Erwin Zwolsman

Meet Erwin Zwolsman, who joined ChainCraft as an intern at the end of 2021 and has since become a driving force in our commercial team. During his internship, Erwin conducted desk research into various potential feedstocks for our Full Scale factory.
