ChainCraft B.V. and Eternis Fine Chemicals have announced a strategic collaboration to develop low-carbon, bio-based aroma chemicals that redefine sustainability in perfumery. The two companies will explore and commercialize innovative applications for ChainCraft’s SensiCraft® range of fatty acids, produced through cutting-edge fermentation technology at its new full-scale factory in Ter Apelkanaal, The Netherlands.
By utilizing plant-based food residues such as potato residues, ChainCraft’s process offers a truly circular alternative to fossil-based and palm oil-derived products that meet the growing demand for greener, high-performance solutions in the flavors and fragrances (F&F), and personal care industries. Eternis, a global aroma ingredients manufacturer, brings its manufacturing excellence, extensive market expertise and supply chain network to accelerate the adoption of next-generation ingredients.
