Increase of global population and living standards, combined with a growing focus on hygiene is driving up demand for consumer products, particularly in the home and personal care market. At the same time, these consumers demand more sustainable and local products such as recycled shampoo bottles, fully biobased and palm-free lotions, and all-purpose cleaners with zero carbon footprint. The industry has to move away from destructive fossil fuel and palm oil derived ingredients towards more sustainable solutions.
