Rethink the Future: our COO Joline shares her vision on curiosity and ownership

At the Rethink the Future event organised by Processionals, our COO Joline de Brauw joined a panel of industry experts to discuss the future of work and innovation in the process industry.

In her contribution, Joline emphasised that true innovation does not start with technology, but with people. “Technology changes quickly, but real progress happens when people dare to ask questions and think along,” she explained. “Innovation begins with listening and creating space for ideas from everyone, from operators to team leaders.”

That mindset is also reflected in ChainCraft’s own growth journey. With the construction of our new full-scale plant in Ter Apelkanaal, collaboration across all teams has become more important than ever. Designing a large-scale production process requires bringing together valuable insights from every part of the organisation, from R&D and engineering to operations and business development. By listening, combining expertise and learning from one another, these contributions come together in a process that truly works. The challenge now lies in scaling that process efficiently and sustainably.

According to Joline, curiosity and ownership are key ingredients in building a resilient and future-proof organisation. By fostering an open culture where asking questions is encouraged, companies can unlock the creativity and insight needed to drive lasting change.

Events such as Rethink the Future play an important role in connecting professionals across industries and exchanging ideas that help shape the workplaces of tomorrow.
